Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Activity



10% of CHAT’s budget is allocated to this essential activity this:

  • ensures transparency and accountability
  • fosters improvement in project performance by identifying gaps and offering direction for action points.
  • Provides for data-driven decision-making, such as enhancing effectiveness in allocating resources and creating the basis for learning.
  • improves and strengthens systematic management of the organisation, including helping the management team make informed technical & financial decisions

CHAT partners with & capacity build Community Own Resource Persons (CORP) to provide on-going support to the local populations when the clinic is not present.

CHAT TB Achievements

CHAT not only provides treatment & referrals for presumed TB but also provides health education to minimize spreading and improve compliance with medication.

CHAT provides treatment for many ailments, such as upper respiratory track infections (URTIs), malaria, diarrhoea and skin infections.

Individuals counselled & tested for HIV

Kenya's HIV prevalence rate is 4.9%. CHAT integrates a number of relevant HIV/AIDS service components into all of our interventions, which include counselling and testing as well as education on transmission prevention and referrals for anti-retroviral treatment (ARVs).
